MyRounders (myrounders.co.uk) runs social rounders leagues across South Wales. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the MyRounders iOS app or the player portal at app.myrounders.co.uk, why we collect it, and the choices you have. What we collect

• Account details — your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, address and an optional profile photo.
• League activity — the teams you join, match availability, team sheets, results, awards, umpiring shifts and payment records. This is the day-to-day information needed to run a league.
• Payments — payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we keep records of what was paid, when and for what (match fees, memberships, season commitments).
• Content you share — messages in team and league chats, help conversations with HQ, and any photos you upload (profile, team photos, chat images).
• Device information — a push notification token for your device if you allow notifications, so we can tell you about fixtures, payments and team news. We do not track your location.

Young players

Players under 18 need a parent or guardian's consent to take part. We collect the guardian's name and contact details as part of that consent, and safeguarding information (for example, emergency contacts) is available to the coordinators running their games.

How we use your information

• Running leagues: fixtures, team sheets, results, standings and awards.
• Collecting and reconciling match fees, memberships and season payments.
• Sending notifications you'd expect — availability reminders, payment requests, team news. You can control push notifications in your device settings.
• Member benefits — where your membership includes personal accident insurance, the information needed to administer that cover may be shared with the insurer.
• Answering your questions through MyHelp.

Who sees it

• Your leagues — team-mates, captains and coordinators see the sporting information they need: your name on team sheets, availability, results and awards. Contact details are only shared with your consent (for example, when you ask to join a team).
• Service providers — Stripe (payments), Apple (push notifications) and Cloudflare (video streaming for member content). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
• We do not sell your information, and we don't share it with advertisers.

Keeping and deleting your information

We keep your information while your account is active. You can deactivate your account in the app under MyAccount, which suspends it and signs you out everywhere.

You can also permanently delete your account yourself, in the app or on the web portal, under MyAccount → Delete Account. When you do, your personal details — name, email address, phone number, date of birth, address and photos — are permanently removed or anonymised immediately, and the account cannot be recovered. A small amount of information is retained after deletion:

• Payment and accounting records — kept for as long as the law requires (for example, for tax and accounting purposes).
• League statistics and match history — kept in anonymised form so results and standings still add up; they are no longer linked to you.
• Moderation and audit records — kept where needed to enforce our terms and keep the community safe.

Content moderation

You can report any message, photo or other content in the app, and block another user at any time. Reports are reviewed and actioned within 24 hours, and we may remove content and suspend or eject accounts that break our Terms of Service.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how it's used. Email contact@myrounders.co.uk and we'll respond within a month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
